Willis Knighton Health in partnership with Brentwood Hospital of Shreveport are pleased to announce their proposed psychiatry residency program has received initial accreditation from the ACGME! We are now working to recruit our inaugural cohort of residents scheduled to begin July 2024. Interested candidates should submit an application via ERAS.

To train physicians to provide compassionate, evidence-based, high-quality, and comprehensive care to our patients and the Louisiana, Texas, and Arkansas communities we serve.

Program Aims

  • Retain physicians to serve the diverse communities of the Louisiana, Texas, and Arkansas regions.
  • Graduate physicians committed to medical community service.
  • Graduate physicians prepared to enter autonomous practice or to pursue subspecialty training.
  • Graduate physicians who demonstrate exemplary medical knowledge as evidenced by board-certification.
