Mission Statement

Our mission is to promote the specialty of Family Medicine in our organizations and rural communities by demonstrating excellence in education through training empathic, highly skilled physicians who are able to deliver high quality, comprehensive patient care while serving as the cornerstone of healthcare for our community by providing the quality and personalized care we would want for ourselves and our families.

Program Aims

• Residents will receive extensive exposure to healthcare delivery in a rural setting.
• Residents will connect with the community and advocate for their unique medical needs.
• Residents will practice in the full spectrum of Family Medicine.
• Residents will demonstrate exemplary medical knowledge culminating in their board certification in Family Medicine.
• Residents will be well equipped and comfortable practicing in any rural setting upon graduation.
