Dr. Thomas has local connections as a graduate of Captain Shreve High School and his service in Desert Storm. After college, he earned a medical degree at Wayne State University. His internal medicine and pediatrics residency was at Detroit Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of Michigan. Dr. Thomas is a board-certified internist (American Board of Internal Medicine) and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP). 

Outside of work, Dr. Thomas enjoys playing basketball, listening to music and spending time with his family.
