Dr. Meghan Harris has been practicing general neurology sub-specializing in Multiple Sclerosis since 2010. She is board certified under the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and a member of the American Academy of Neurology. Dr. Harris also holds the position of Clinical Assistant Professor in Neurology at Ochsner-LSU Health Shreveport where she teaches residents and medical students.
She earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC) in Shreveport, LA, started her medical internship and neurology residency at Tulane University in New Orleans, but moved back to Shreveport to complete her training after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. She completed her Multiple Sclerosis fellowship at LSUHSC- Shreveport and entered private practice.
Dr. Harris enjoys educating patients on Multiple Sclerosis and serves on the advisory boards of several organizations regarding MS education. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and 2 daughters.
