Anand M. Desai, MD, cares for patients with a wide range of acute and complex medical conditions as an internal medicine physician. Dr. Desai’s primary clinical focus is hospital medicine. 

A Texas native, Dr. Desai graduated from Baylor University with a degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. He earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and completed an internal medicine residency at LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport School of Medicine before joining Willis Knighton Health in 2016. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.  

Outside of work, Dr. Desai enjoys traveling with his wife and two daughters, visiting national parks and spending time together as a family.
