Born in San Salvador, El Salvador where he completed his initial primary education at the German school El Salvador , Dr Padilla decided early in his high school years to join Universidad de El Salvador for his medical education, which he completed in 2002 . Became ECFMG certified in Miami, FL and then Started his Residency in Internal Medicine in New York at St. Vincent’s Catholic medical center, completing it in the year 2007. Passionate about infectious Diseases, obtained his Fellowship at LSU Health Science Center, in Shreveport, LA, completing in the year 2009 .
Dr. Padilla joined WK Medical Center since 2009, where he started his private practice and later on supervises infectious Control Department for the Health System . He also performed as Assistant Professor of Infectious diseases at LSU HSC Shreveport since 2009 until 2019.
He enjoys teaching opportunities and medical discussions for adequate patient care and proper management.
