I was born in Beirut, Lebanon, then moved to Michigan where I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan. I attended medical school at the Medical University of the Americas and subsequently did my residency and fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at the Louisiana State University in Shreveport. Following my training, I joined Willis Knighton Health System and started the Willis Knighton Lung Specialists. I continued my academic affiliation with the VA Medical center in Shreveport, working with residents and fellows. I serve as the Chief Medical Officer and Flight Surgeon for the 307th Medical Squadron stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base. Along with resident education, my passion lies in critical care, global health, and medical humanities. Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family, attempting to learn new sports, and keeping up with the advances in technology.
