Summer Woods is an academic program professional and currently serves as the program coordinator at Willis Knighton Health’s Internal Medicine Residency Program in Shreveport, Louisiana. A native of South Louisiana, Woods brings nearly a decade of experience in family medicine graduate medical education, followed by three years supporting a podiatric medicine residency program. Her move to Shreveport brought her closer to family and led her to Willis Knighton, where she continues her passion for training the next generation of physicians. Outside of work, she is a devoted mother to her son and has a deep love for animals.
