  • Favorite Procedure: Orthognathic surgery—I'm truly passionate about correcting skeletal growth deformities and facial asymmetries.
  • What are you most looking forward to this year? I’m really excited to start my fellowship at Willis-Knighton, learning from a legend in craniomaxillofacial surgery - Dr. Ghali, and working alongside such a talented and welcoming team. I’m especially looking forward to growing my skills in craniofacial surgery and making the most of every learning opportunity
  • Fun Fact about yourself: I’m a hardcore chocolate addict. Every December for me - it’s Harry Potter marathon time. If I weren’t a maxillofacial surgeon, I’d probably be an artist. My movie heroes are Mushu from Mulan, Miguel from Coco, and Judy Hopps from Zootopia—tiny but mighty, with big dreams and even bigger hearts!

  • Favorite Procedure: Still exploring! I'm just glad to be in the OR. There’s something meaningful about the idea that every incision is an opportunity to learn and heal.
  • What are you most looking forward to this year? Getting my hands dirty (in a sterile way), seeing cases and procedures I have only read about come to life. 
  • Fun Fact about yourself: I drove 36 hours straight from the PNW to Louisiana. Just me, a playlist, my snacks, and every emotion possible with one goal: make it to residency orientation.

  • What are you most looking forward to this year? I am looking forward to gain experience of how to manage patients perioperatively and work within a Program that has under its belt a broad scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery: from a simple Dental Extraction to a Thyroidectomy or Cranial Vault Remodeling, amongst others. Also, I would like to develop my previous abstracts projects into full manuscripts.
