Research and Scholarly Activity

Willis Knighton Health is committed to creating an environment of scholarship and inquiry for our resident physicians and to developing our residency programs dedicated to significant resources in this area. You can learn more about the organization’s commitment to research here.

Residents in the advanced training program in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Willis Knighton Health will be required to engage in scholarly activity during the program duration. Each resident will be required to submit at least one abstract to a national meeting and/or publish an article in a peer reviewed journal prior to graduation. Residents will also be encouraged to participate in ongoing research with faculty members.
