Message from the Program Director

Welcome to the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Training Program at Willis Knighton Health.  Our mission is to train residents in the full scope of our specialty which involves the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, injuries, and defects involving the functional, as well as the aesthetic aspects of the hard and soft tissues of the head and neck region.  The scope of this specialty is very broad and includes specialized knowledge in orthognathic surgery, dentoalveolar surgery, facial trauma surgery, head and neck surgery, microvascular reconstructive surgery, cleft lip and palate surgery, and cosmetic surgery.  We are committed to providing residents with excellent educational experiences and patient care opportunities.  Our goal is to graduate the most competent, broadest-trained surgeons in the specialty.
